Conor Moriarty
Besides everyone's collective love for the outdoors, Conor loves that people wave to each other. That may seem small, but it is my favorite thing about the Central Oregon communities.

Glitz, glamour, fashion and fun? Where do I sign up?!"

Growing up, I was always a little on the eccentric side, so the opportunity to partner with an amazing community to help raise funds for a ministry I pour my heart into was a no-brainer—especially with such a fun and unique format!
And honestly, anything Megan and Andy Martin are involved with has my full attention! Megan has wonderfully creative, imaginative ways to see and fill needs in the Bend community. An opportunity to partake in what they are doing is an opportunity for me to grow in my own life. -
I pastor the Young Adults community at Journey Church and I am helping oversee and conceptualize what will become our church's Leadership College, where we will raise up generations of world leaders!

Since I was 16 years old, I've been passionate about early church theology. I'm less curious about what people 2,000 years later think about God and much more interested in what the Church Fathers in the first few centuries after Jesus thought and believed about Him. Over the last 16 years, that pursuit has completely transformed my walk with God and my understanding of who He is, which in turn has changed how I see myself and others.
I'm passionate about God, so therefore, I am passionate about people and relationships.
As far as other talents, I have been a songwriter, singer and performer since I was 15 years old. I’ve been able to write with and for some incredible artists. This has been another way for me to grow my relationships with others.
I also have a bizarre ability to watch any movie or TV show and memorize not just the dialogue, but also the sound effects, music, voices and characters. Quoting and needlessly applying movie lines to conversations has been an ailment that's followed me my entire life!
Currently, my hobbies are fairly simple. I love to sit in my chair at home and read while my daughter sleeps in my arms. I love to sit and watch videos with my wife that make us laugh uncontrollably. And I love our wonderful routing of going on evening or morning three-mile walks. -
So many people...My parents and their marriage, my wife and her being the greatest act of God’s mercy over my life, the closest friends I have made since moving here in 2023.
All of these examples remind me of Romans 12:9 - "Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. CLING onto... HOLD tightly to what is good." -
Seeing people prefer others to themselves, sacrificing their own gain for the gain of others - laying their lives down for others, even in small ways.
