This is the story of Mike and Sharon Dye and their three boys. It is a story marked by addiction and homelessness, but ultimately defined by renewal, second chances and hope. It is a story that reminds us of the hope that is possible when people in our community choose to lean in, offer support without judgment and remind one another of their inherent value and worth.

Kendall's Catwalk for a Cause was nothing short of unforgettable - an evening filled with hope, transformation and the powerful reminder that beauty can rise from ashes. Together, we raised $272,000, enough to furnish 272 homes in the coming months!

Turning empty spaces into homes takes more than goodwill; it takes a steady flow of donations and strong, reliable partnerships. Most recently, a remarkable connection led to a major donation from Biscayne Hospitality and the Sheraton Carlsbad Resort & Spa in Southern California.

Local artist Mark Jamnik teamed up with our Catwalk for a Cause models—Ambassadors of Hope—to create a unique abstract canvas inspired by their reflections on hope and dignity. For a long time, Jessica didn’t have a space of her own. She had been living with her parents, sharing rooms with her children and doing her best to make things work as a single parent. But recently, everything changed.

In one unforgettable evening, we raised enough money to help furnish 285 homes in the coming months. That’s 285 families whose lives will be touched with comfort, dignity and hope. All because of you.

Furnish Hope had the privilege of participating in the inaugural DDH Angel Project, linking arms with a remarkable network of community members who rallied support to transform the home - and life - of a local ‘angel’, Chelsea Taylor.

While most recipients claim Central Oregon as their home, our reach occasionally extends far beyond our immediate community to those who have fled humanitarian crises and sought refuge in the United States.
