As a financial advisor, mentor and someone who believes in giving back. When I was invited to join Catwalk For a Cause, I felt honored. Furnish Hope is doing incredible work, and I’ve always wanted to be a part of something that creates real impact. Saying yes was easy. I hope to help raise awareness and shine a light on their mission.
In my work, I help people plan for their future and achieve their financial goals. But outside the office, my heart is with the community, especially the youth at my church. I also enjoy jiu jitsu, fishing and spending quality time with the people I love.
Growing up, my stepfather was a major influence on my life. He showed me what it means to be a godly man - patient, kind, slow to speak and generous with both time and heart. If I could go back and speak to my 12-year-old self, I’d simply say, this too shall pass. It’s a reminder to hold on through hard times because they don’t last forever.
To me, hope is about strength and perseverance. It’s the ability to stay grounded, no matter what life throws your way. And home is that place where I feel safe, secure and loved.
Central Oregon is a special place and I’m proud to be part of it. The kindness of the people and the beauty that surrounds us make it an incredible community. I’m truly grateful to be involved in this event and to support a cause that’s making such a meaningful difference.
