Heather Salvesen
CHIEF CHEERLEADER & HOMEFRONT MANAGER | SALVESEN HOMES
I'm Heather and I’m a 2025 Kendall Catwalk Model! Help me meet my $2,500 pledge amount in support of Furnish Hope by purchasing an event ticket to see me on the runway OR by donating below.
As a proud mama of three, a big believer in community, and someone who loves to show up where it matters most! When I was asked to join Catwalk For a Cause, I didn’t hesitate for a second. Supporting Furnish Hope is an easy yes, and I’m honored to help shine a light on their invaluable work. Getting to dress up and walk the runway is just the icing on the cake!
I’m an active volunteer at my children’s school, Trinity Lutheran, where I serve as a classroom volunteer, auction chair, and play an active role in the school’s capital campaign. I also help manage our family’s charitable trust and have served on several nonprofit boards throughout Central Oregon.
My passions are as diverse and full as my calendar: singing, performing, cooking, hiking, traveling, swimming, doing hair and makeup for weddings and school theater productions, and creating spaces where people feel truly at home. I enjoy interior decorating and helping to build custom homes for our business, Salvesen Homes! I sing on the worship team at our church and have been a part of the Swinging Tower Christmas show at the Tower Theater for seven consecutive years.
Growing up, I was deeply influenced by my incredible parents. Their humility, faith, and servant hearts laid the foundation for who I am today. If I could talk to my 12-year-old self, I’d say: “Don’t take it all so seriously and don’t take your family for granted!”
To me, hope isn’t just wishful thinking - it’s a deep, unshakable trust in God’s promises and confidence in His plan and purpose for our future. And home is everything: where your heart is, where you're fully seen and loved, and where you’re always welcome back.
Bend has been home my whole life, and I love this community with all my heart. The natural beauty, the quality of life, the generosity, and the way we take care of our neighbors. It’s the perfect place to raise a family and make a difference. I’m beyond grateful to be part of this event and to stand alongside others who care deeply about restoring hope and giving every family a place to call home.
