Mark’s favorite thing about being part of the Bend/Central Oregon community is that it’s a community full of like-minded outdoor enthusiasts. He enjoys living where he can adventure outside with his wife and daughter, or friends in a multitude of ways.

I was hesitant to say yes because I am not fashionable and walking a catwalk is way outside my comfort zone.

How many times in my life will I be asked to walk a catwalk? Probably never again. This is a wonderful opportunity to fundraise for one of my favorite non-profits and to make fun memories.

The purpose of my work is facilitate the development of a 710-acre rural property in Redmond. My day-to-day work is repetitious - lots of reading and high attention to detail. What motivates me to work is the fact more than half of the profits from our rural residential will support local non-profits and beyond - Furnish Hope being one of them.

My number one passion is my wife, Abigail, and my daughter, Sadie. They are the best! I am an avid ultra trail runner and also enjoy golfing. Fun fact: I have 26 pets - 1 dog, 1 cat, and 24 chickens. Hobby farming is a blast!

My Grandma Helen. She lived her life full of love and joy into her late nineties, despite health complications. She filled me with hope for how I want love my family and age gracefully, filled with joy regardless of what life throws at me.

In my daily life, hope looks like me striving to be the best version of myself to work hard and give everything I can to my family - to live simply and joyfully.
