Q&A with Paige
-
Panic, terror, a strong desire to run.

A furnished home isn't just comfortable — it tells a family that their community sees them, values them, and wants them to thrive. I want our central Oregon community to thrive, and I am feeling called to help.

As the Director of Marketing for the Foundation for Affordable Housing, I work every day alongside families who are transitioning into stable housing after periods of real hardship. We are blessed, as an organization, to partner with other non-profits that share our mission.

At the heart of everything I do are the people and places I love most. I'm a mom first — my daughters are my greatest joy, and watching them grow into curious, compassionate humans drives everything I do. We live on a farm outside Bend, where life moves at a different pace — animals to tend, land to care for, and a daily reminder of what it means to be rooted in something real. Family is my anchor. Whether it's the chaos of a full house or a quiet morning before everyone's up, I'm most myself when I'm surrounded by the people I love. And underneath all of it is faith. My relationship with God gives me purpose, perspective, and the belief that we're here to serve something bigger than ourselves — which is exactly why work like Furnish Hope resonates so deeply with me.

God, my husband, and my girls. We had a terrifying medical crisis happen with my youngest daughter 2 years ago, and our faith as a family changed dramatically. We were blessed with an actual miracle, and honestly, my Hope grew from there.
-
Hope looks like a family walking into their first furnished home and finally feeling like they belong somewhere. In my daily life, it looks like my daughters running out to feed the animals, my faith reminding me that hard seasons lead somewhere good, and a community that chooses to show up for its neighbors.

This community shows up. Tell Bend how and where to help, and they will.
