A Season of Generosity and Growth

We continue to be inspired by our community’s generosity in helping us meet the growing needs of our neighbors. Each month, we deliver furnishings, household essentials and hope to an average of 50 households. That’s 50 individuals and families moving from empty rooms into homes filled with dignity, comfort, and care.

Turning empty spaces into homes takes more than goodwill; it takes a steady flow of donations and strong, reliable partnerships.

Stronger Partnerships and a Greater Reach

This year, our expanding partnerships are helping us meet critical needs we couldn’t manage alone.

- WorldMark Resorts in Oceanside, OR and Longview, WA have donated entire room sets with more coming.
- A Best Western in Seattle connected with us for a large donation, and thanks to Les Schwab and volunteers from Warm Springs, truckloads of furniture arrived at our donation center.
- Sunriver Resort generously donated two full trailers of couches, ottomans and accent chairs.
-  And most recently, a remarkable connection led to a major donation from Biscayne Hospitality and the Sheraton Carlsbad Resort & Spa in Southern California.

A Spotlight on Generosity:
Biscayne Hospitality & Grand Pacific Resorts

Several months ago, Javed Bhaghani, President of Biscayne Hospitality, a leader in custom furniture for the hospitality industry, reached out with an idea to help connect us with hotels replacing their furnishings.

Working together with Jordan Zane, Biscayne’s Marketing Manager, they partnered with Diane Proulx of Grand Pacific Resorts and identified the perfect opportunity: the Sheraton Carlsbad Resort & Spa, which was refreshing its guest rooms with new furniture from Biscayne.

Biscayne Hospitality went above and beyond, not only coordinating the donation but also covering the cost of shipping the furniture from California to Bend. An incredible act of generosity and support!

On October 20th, a 26-foot truck was loaded with nightstands, side tables, living room chairs, lamps and outdoor furniture. Just a few days later, on October 23rd, the truck rolled into Bend, where a team from Les Schwab joined our Furnish Hope volunteers to unload every piece into our warehouse.

Because of these kinds of collaborations, dozens of beautiful, high-quality pieces will soon be repurposed and find new homes - bringing warmth, comfort and dignity to families in need.
