HOPE Took Center Stage
A Night of Generosity, Compassion and Connection
What an unforgettable evening! From an immersive journey into our mission and one recipient's powerful story of courage to the incredible energy and passion of our Ambassadors of Hope, Kendall's 2026 Catwalk for a Cause brought to life one powerful message: Hope Changes Everything.
Hosted by Kendall Cares, whose commitment to giving back continues to make a meaningful difference throughout Central Oregon, the evening was an extraordinary celebration of generosity and community. Together, we raised an incredible $365,000, including a special $100,000 paddle raise for families impacted by the Silver Rail Elementary School tragedy.
More than a celebration of generosity, the evening was a powerful reminder of what compassion, connection and community can make possible.
Behind Every Referral is Someone’s Story
The space was transformed for an elegant evening, but beyond the celebration was an opportunity to experience the heart of our mission. Guests walked through an immersive display featuring 50 stories representing the many different journeys that bring people to our doors. Behind every referral and every packing list is a person, a family and a story of resilience, hardship and hope.
From those 50 stories, guests were then invited to connect more deeply with one remarkable woman whose journey of courage and survival brought our mission to life.
One Woman’s Story:
A Powerful Example of Courage and Survival
Jessica shared her powerful journey of rebuilding after years of abuse and isolation. Returning to a home where most had been destroyed, she faced the overwhelming task of starting over.
She recalled the day Furnish Hope arrived and the comfort of a much-needed hug. But it was a dining table that held special meaning for her. More than a piece of furniture, it represented family, love and the opportunity to reconnect.
She also spoke about the hopeful new direction her life has taken. Today, she works in behavioral health, is continuing her education and is saving for a home of her own. Her courage and willingness to share her story made for one of the most powerful moments of the evening, reminding us that hope is about connection, belonging and knowing you're not alone.
Our Ambassadors of Hope: Bringing Hope to Life
Our incredible Ambassadors of Hope brought energy, enthusiasm and heart to every moment of the evening! From their first runway walk, What Hope Feels Like, where they were joined by former Furnish Hope recipients, to their second walk, What Hope Looks Like, these dedicated individuals truly brought our mission to life.
Together, they set a new fundraising record, raising more than $94,000, while filling seats with friends, family and many newcomers experiencing our mission for the first time. We couldn't be more grateful for the time, energy and heart they poured into making this event a success!
Special congratulations to Annie Wayland, crowned our top ambassador for her efforts to raise over $24,000!
When Community Needed Hope,
Our Community Responded
In a powerful demonstration of compassion and community, the evening included a special paddle raise to support families impacted by the Silver Rail Elementary School tragedy. We were honored to welcome Jim Muzynoski, Silver Rail parent and PTO board member, who shared a heartfelt message. Thanks to the extraordinary generosity of our guests and a $50,000 matching gift from Kendall Auto Group, we raised $100,000 for Silver Rail families. It was a moving reminder that hope extends far beyond any one mission and that when our community comes together, we can make an extraordinary difference in the lives of our neighbors.
Hope Changes Everything.
And Together, We Made It Possible.
To everyone who attended, donated, sponsored, volunteered or supported an Ambassador of Hope, thank you for making this extraordinary evening possible!
