They are driven by the simple purpose to “inspire others to give…and be bigger than themselves.”
Inspired by Example
Quality Drilling & Blasting is a locally owned Central Oregon company serving communities throughout the Northwest. Behind the company's success is owner Matt Higgins, whose commitment to generosity and service is woven into everything he does.
Growing up, Matt watched his parents faithfully raise support for the orphanage they founded in Uganda. Their example inspired him to build something that could create meaningful, lasting change for nonprofits and ministries around the world.
Generosity in Action
Through the success of Quality Drilling & Blasting, Matt established Inspirational Giving, a foundation dedicated to supporting nonprofits and ministries through financial contributions, practical resources and hands-on service. Guided by a vision to give away $5 million annually, Inspirational Giving is helping transform lives and strengthen organizations both locally and beyond.
What sets Inspirational Giving apart is their deep investment in the people behind the mission. Each year, they host a retreat for nonprofit leaders, providing a place for rest, encouragement, learning, and connection. It is an opportunity for leaders to share experiences, learn from one another, and be reminded they are not carrying the work alone.
For the past four years, Inspirational Giving has been an invaluable partner to Furnish Hope. Whether lifting and loading furniture, moving shipping containers, pushing dirt, loaning trailers, or creating matching grants that inspire generosity, their team continually steps in wherever help is needed.
Their generosity extends far beyond Furnish Hope. From delivering more than 80,000 pounds of beef to partner nonprofits to mobilizing volunteers for projects across the region, Inspirational Giving consistently finds practical ways to meet needs and strengthen communities.
