Hope is Taking Shape
Transformation is underway at Furnish Hope's future home, and we're excited to begin sharing regular updates as we move through the renovation process and the public phase of our “Hope Needs an Address” capital campaign.
In the months ahead, we'll take you behind the scenes of the progress taking place - from construction milestones and renovation updates to the businesses, partners and volunteers helping bring this vision to life. Together, we're creating a place where hope, dignity and community can flourish for years to come.
Over the past few weeks, volunteers have been pouring their hearts into revitalizing the back of the warehouse, and it's incredible to see what a little love, elbow grease and paint can do to breathe new life into a 100-year-old building.
Take a look behind the scenes at the progress so far!
Thanks to a generous donation of 40 gallons of paint from Sherwin-Williams, the space has been transformed with a bright, clean foundation for the work ahead.
This work is part of our “Hope Needs an Address” capital campaign, an ambitious effort to raise $2 million to move into our new home debt free, complete critical renovations, establish the operational foundation for future growth and increase our capacity to furnish 700 homes annually.
We're already seeing incredible momentum. Thanks to the generosity of our community, more than $400,000 was raised at our CHAIRitable event in April - an inspiring reminder of how deeply people believe in this vision and the families it will serve.
This new property is more than a warehouse. It will be a hub for hope, restoration, volunteerism and dignity. It will allow us to increase our capacity, reduce wait times for people in need, strengthen partnerships and create sustainable growth for years to come.
We are deeply grateful for every volunteer, donor, business partner and supporter helping bring this dream to life. The progress has been remarkable and we're just getting started.
