Where Faith Meets Action: A Season of Hope
Our Church Partners: Rooted in Service
From the beginning, local churches have been at the heart of Furnish Hope’s story. They’ve not only believed in our mission - they’ve lived it. They’ve shown up with hands ready to serve, congregations eager to give and hearts committed to loving our neighbors in need.
A Foundational Partnership
Before we ever furnished our first home, Westside Church came alongside us to hear the vision and help bring it to life. They helped us find our warehouse home, and within months, their outreach grew our volunteer team from zero to ten - some of whom still serve with us today!
Over the years, the Westside community has faithfully walked with us through every season of growth, attending all of our CHAIRitable events and hosting annual drives for household goods. We are deeply grateful for their foundational partnership.
A Network of Faith in Action
Today, we’re honored to count so many church communities as part of the Furnish Hope family - partners in generosity, faith and hands-on impact:
Sisters Community Church – Hosted a donation drive that filled three full trailers of furnishings and essentials.
Sunriver Christian Fellowship – Partnered with us for two donation drives that filled more than five trailers, and selected us as the beneficiary of their Visions of Sugar Plum fundraiser for the second year in a row.
Grace First Lutheran Church – Provided a huge blessing of household items after holding their second donation drive.
Grace Bible Church – Faithfully sends volunteers who serve, sort and support families with care and consistency.
Unitarian Universalist Fellowship – Invited us to share our mission and supported us with generous financial gifts.
Eastmont Church – Filled an entire truck with dressers, a much-needed essential item.
Journey Church: A Deepening Connection
We’re especially excited about our growing partnership with Journey Church, which is becoming a vital part of our mission in this next season of growth. They are thoughtfully weaving Furnish Hope into the fabric of their community life.
They have committed to ongoing support for essentials and has generously allowed us to park our donation trailer on their property, creating a visible invitation to donors and neighbors in need.
Journey Church also opened their space for volunteer gatherings and invited us into their Rooted small groups, many of which have become some of our most dedicated teams - pulling orders, loading trailers and delivering hope across Central Oregon.
What moves us most is this: though each church has its own name and culture, they’re united by a common heartbeat - to love their neighbors in real, tangible ways.
Whether it's furnishing a home, hosting a drive, loading a trailer or baking cookies that become mission dollars, these acts shine brightly in our community. They remind us that everyone has something to give, and that together, we’re building more than homes. We’re building hope.
