Inspiration
I knew I wanted to use a map design on the chair so it only seemed fitting to pick our great city of Bend. Bend has an iconic logo that resonates for so many of us that’s sprinkled in as well.

Unique Elements & Features
This chair is all things BEND - from the custom printed map showing so many landmarks in town to where you may live. If you look closely, you’ll be able to find the streets Furnish Hope is on! It’s fun to find places that you’ve been to while you’re living your BEND life. This chair feels fresh, clean, modern and very BEND. Don’t forget the travel case! We all arrived in BEND from somewhere and we were thirsty for something more when we got here. So, cheers to a local cup of coffee, tea or beer to celebrate!!!

Message & Emotion
I want people’s love for BEND to be felt in this chair when looking at all the details. It’s meant to be a conversation piece for people to connect with their community and be inspired to support it. That’s where FH comes in!

Creative Process & Insights
When I started the project, I thought I bit off more than I could chew with this chair. My work was cut out for me. I kept moving forward with changes little by little until the chair was completed. It’s a reminder to me that I can do anything if I set aside the time and keep working at it.
