Inspiration
My life's hardships have constructed me in the way that makes me who I am today. In this chair, I wanted to incorporate a number of techniques that I have learned over the years to articulate to others the art of nature's elements such as fire, lightning and aging can be quite beautiful.

Unique Elements & Features
Some of the techniques I used are fractal burning, Japanese burning and crackling.

Message & Emotion
That life's hardships can be just as beautiful as nature allows.

Creative Process & Insights
I take many precautions while doing the fractal burning as it is a dangerous process. Basically, I am shocking the wood with 15,000 volts of electricity to create the fractal patterns before filling it with metallic epoxy.
