FURNISH HOPE VOLUNTEER
I'm Trish and I’m a 2025 Kendall Catwalk Model! Help me meet my $2,500 pledge amount in support of Furnish Hope by purchasing an event ticket to see me on the runway OR by donating below.
A long-time Furnish Hope volunteer and a first-time participant in the Catwalk for a Cause. When I was invited to be part of this event, I immediately said yes! I was excited to support a mission that’s close to my heart: providing hope and the gift of a furnished home to a neighbor in need.
Giving back has always been a guiding principle in my life, no matter where I’ve lived. One of my favorite things about the Bend community is how deeply rooted this community is in compassion and generosity. I love connecting with people, listening to their stories and playing a part in the bigger story of Furnish Hope through my volunteer work at our donation center and our resale storefront, Furnish Hope & Home.
I credit my strong sense of service to my mother - a fiercely independent woman who raised my brother and me to be the same - and to the Jesuit priests who instilled in me the belief that “if you are fortunate in life, you must give back.” That wisdom has guided me from a young age.
If I could revisit one thing from the past, it would be the chance to hear more stories and lessons from my older relatives. I believe in the importance of listening to others. Everyone has a story and we should try to never judge because we haven’t walked in their shoes.
To me, hope is the belief that there is always something out there you can wish to happen, and a home is a safe, comforting place to call your own.
I’m proud to support Furnish Hope by walking the runway and raising $2,500 to help furnish homes and restore dignity.
