Partner Spotlight: Mission Increase and 710 Properties

For the past six years, Mission Increase has been an important partner to Furnish Hope, helping strengthen our organization through professional development, training and coaching. Founded by Dale and Gail Stockamp more than 25 years ago, Mission Increase equips nonprofit and ministry leaders with practical tools and guidance in areas such as fundraising, board development, strategic planning and organizational leadership.

Furnish Hope has participated in Mission Increase's quarterly trainings and one-on-one coaching for years, and the impact has been significant. The support has strengthened our fundraising efforts, expanded our leadership capacity and connected us with other nonprofit leaders. Just as valuable are the practical tools, templates and frameworks that help us operate with greater clarity and confidence.

And remarkably, Mission Increase provides all of this support at no cost to the organizations it serves.

Multiplying the Investment

Mission Increase's commitment to strengthening nonprofits is also at the heart of an innovative philanthropic project taking shape in Central Oregon.

Dale and Gail, along with three other investors, created 710 Properties, an investment group with a shared desire to create long-term resources for nonprofits and ministries. Together, they purchased approximately 710 acres just northwest of Redmond and began a multi-year process to change the property's zoning and create 10-acre homesites.

The goal isn't simply to develop and sell real estate. It's to multiply an investment into lasting philanthropic support.

As parcels are sold, proceeds will support Mission Increase and a select group of Central Oregon nonprofits, including Furnish Hope. A significant portion will help Mission Increase establish and sustain a Central Oregon coach or area director who can work directly with nonprofit leaders throughout the region.

The project represents a significant investment of time, resources and risk by the four partners. But that is precisely the point. They are investing today with the hope that their resources will grow and ultimately create much greater impact for organizations serving people and strengthening our community.

For Furnish Hope, the partnership with Mission Increase has already demonstrated the power of that approach: invest in people, strengthen organizations and multiply their ability to make a difference.

710 Properties is taking that idea one step further - creating an investment today with the potential to generate support for years to come.
